Do you agree with Ray Kurzweil’s wild speculation about the future of nanotechnology?. Ideas like: Billions of nanobots in our brain will make us a billion times more intelligent.

Miguel — In Engines of Creation (1986) I surveyed some of what one might expect to be able to do with advanced nanotechnologies developed using capabilities that would rely on advanced, atomically precise fabrication; this included biomedical-spectrum applications. I haven’t revisited the area in the last decade or two, however.
